School enrolment — Albania, school year 2026–2027

Enrolment is online on e-Albania. The deadlines below are those of the school year 2026–2027 and have passed; the next year’s are announced by the Ministry of Education.

  • First grade and tenth grade (gymnasium or oriented secondary school): 6–31 July 2026, on e-Albania [1, 2]
  • Part-time gymnasium: until 11 September 2026 [1]
  • Vocational secondary schools: until 30 September 2026, on e-Albania [1]
  • Which school: the schools set for the area of residence, as e-Albania shows them [1, 2]

Enrolment in the first grade — Kosovo

The ministry’s standing rule is administrative instruction no. 09/2023. The exact days are announced by the school together with the municipal education directorate.

  • Enrolment period: 15 May – 15 June, every year; public notice 15 days before; for the places left the school announces a second period [1]
  • Age: 6 years completed; earlier only with the assessment of the school’s professional team [1]
  • Documents: birth certificate, vaccination certificate, proof of residence no older than 6 months and the parent’s or guardian’s documents [1]
  • Which school: by the municipality’s zoning; online where the school has the technical means [1]
