Machine translation

Machine translation: HPLT, OPUS-MT (University of Helsinki), CTranslate2. The models run on the VEPRA server; no text is sent to a third party. Every machine translation is labelled «Translated automatically» and the original stays reachable.

The HPLT models

HPLT (High Performance Language Technologies): the English → Albanian and Albanian → English models, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC-BY-4.0).

The OPUS-MT models

OPUS-MT, Helsinki-NLP, University of Helsinki: English → Italian, French, Swedish, Arabic, Greek and Macedonian under the Apache-2.0 licence; English → German, English → Turkish (opus-mt-tc-big-en-tr) and English → Serbian in Latin script (opus-mt-tc-base-en-sh) under CC-BY-4.0.

Changes

The models were converted to the CTranslate2 format with int8 weights to run on the server; their training and vocabularies are unchanged.
